Makeup Geek Insomnia Pigment — A look for Fall

Makeup Geek Insomnia

Makeup Geek Insomnia Makeup Look

I’ve just tried out this Makeup Geek pigment in Insomnia today and I must admit, I’m in LOVE with it. I think this look turned out to be very Fall appropriate since this duochrome pigment has a warm red-brown base but then reflects a beautiful teal/blue. It’s a fall look with some colour 😀

For the eye look, I used Makeup Geek eyeshadow pans and the Insomnia duochrome pigment. I first put Peach Smoothie all over, then Creme Brulée, Latte and Cocoa Bear to blend in the crease. I picked up some of the Insomnia pigment and sprayed on some Mac Mineralize Charged Water onto my brush to dampen it and applied it wet onto my lid. I then blended out the edges with Mocha and made my outer C  (or v?) deeper using Corrupt.

The eyeliner I’m wearing is Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner in Tropper. On my lashes I’m wearing Benefit’s Roller Lash mascara and some cheap falsies that I found on eBay.

On my brows I’m wearing Anastasia Beverly Hills brow duo powders in Brunette.

On my face I’m wearing Mac Studio Fix Fluid in NW15, set with Ben Nye Neutral Set powder, bronzed with Mac Mineralize Skinfinish Bronzer in Give Me Sun, Milani Luminoso for blush and The Balm’s Mary Lou-Manizer as my highlight.

I kept my lips simple, wearing Sephora Cream Lip Stain in 13 – Marvellous Mauve.

As a first impression, I’m loving this Makeup Geek pigment! I got it on sale from the Makeup Geek website and it’s currently still on sale for $6. It’s a great price, check it out 🙂

Such a beautiful pigment, it reminds me of a limited edition I wanted so bad from MAC a little while ago, but I was on holiday with no MAC store in sights so I couldn’t get it before it was sold out!

Your makeup looks flawless and ‘on point’! Have you ever tried Color Pop cosmetics for their intense pigments? If not, you should give them a try at only $5 they are in a pot with a screw top lid and I use them constantly! Their matte lippie stix are great as well! I love Makeup Geek as well and use their pans but have yet to try their duo-chrome pigments!
