I got this Flormar Perfect Coverage Foundation a few months ago and I think it’s time for a review!
The foundation comes in a 30mL frosted glass looking bottle that comes with a pump. I think it looks pretty and it’s well designed.
This foundation promises to be full coverage and that it will last for 12 hours. It also has SPF 15 that I think is a plus.
I got the lightest shade available #102 and I must say that this shade is slightly too dark for me. It looks good on me in the summer months when I’m a bit more tanned but when I’m looking a bit more pale in winter, this will be too dark for me.
As for the coverage, it does cover very well but I do own foundations that have a higher coverage, such as the Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo foundation and the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation. That said, these higher coverage foundations are much more expensive than this Flormar Perfect Coverage Foundation and they do look like a bit like a mask when applied. For the price, I am satisfied with the coverage that this foundation provides.
I find that this foundation highlights a bit of the texture on my skin if I don’t wear a primer with it. That said, with a primer on this looks beautiful.
As for longevity, this lasts all day on me and it gets a little oily over my t-zone. If I mix it with some Mac Fix+, it doesn’t get oily at all and I think it’s fantastic.
All in all I really love this foundation when I wear it with a primer and mix it with a drop or two of Mac Fix+. I only wish that it came in lighter shades so that I can wear it all year round.
This foundation costs €11.95 and if you’re in Malta and you want to get this, there is a Flormar shop in Main Street Paola and another shop opposite Bay Street in St. Julians.
