Today I visited the Flormar Malta shop for the first time! I played with a lot of products and some of them came home with me. I’ll do a haul post later, so stay tuned 🙂
First off, here’s my photographer for the day, Carmelo Establier. He did his own thing taking photos while I was busy swatching away. There were a couple of mascaras that he thought were pretty cool but we’ll get to those in a minute.
First thing that caught my eye was this limited edition collection that comes in GORGEOUS packaging. The magical blooms collection.
I had a sniff of the two perfumes that come with this collection and the Sunset one is my favourite.
Next stop, playing with lippies. Of course.
They have some pretty funky shades. Here I swatched the blue and the yellow. I also recall seeing a lilac shade. I wasn’t brave enough to get them.
And quite quickly, I ended up with an arm full of lip swatches. I must say that these lipsticks swatched really nicely. I wonder whether they’re as nice when put on the lips and how they stay on. There are some really unique shades. That second from the left is a light yellow-orange shade… I might even call it mustard. I’ve never seen a lipstick in that shade before. The shade right next to it also really reminded me of the Kat Von D Lolita II shade but it’s definitely not as matte and long wearing.
Intense photo of the day. In pure concentration over trying to pick out a terracotta powder shade. These powders felt really nice and the little description on the display said that these powders are nourishing.
Now onto the mascaras. Here is where I was really impressed with the innovation of Flormar as a brand. Carmelo pointed out some mascaras to me (I’m not sure whether they’re the ones in this photo or not) but they had some pretty innovative wands (gimicky or not, they’re different). One of the mascara wands takes a battery at the end and it rotates. Seems like it would automatically apply mascara for you. Another wand had an end that you can twist and by twisting it you can adjust THE LENGTH of the wand! Carmelo and myself were impressed but I didn’t get any of them because I have tons of mascaras. Might be fun to try out whether they work or not though.
They also have regular mascaras in pretty packaging.
And here’s a peek at the whole store, there were many other things that I played with. I spent quite a while picking out some eyeshadows to create another colourful eye look with. So yeah, stay tuned for that as well 🙂
I hope you enjoyed this little post.
