I received this Nuxe moisturising mask quite a while ago in a Glossybox and never used it. It’s a moisturising mask and I’m always afraid that intensely moisturising products will break me out.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been experiencing dry patches on my face. It’s quite likely because I’m over exfoliating my face with my new skincare routine. I’ve been using new products for the past three months and it’s a good thing that I haven’t written a review about them yet because it took this long for me to notice that my skin is imbalanced.
Today my dry patches have been quite dry and they were beginning to feel sore and tingly. I thought it was a perfect day to pop out this moisturising mask and give it a go.
I have a full size 50ml product and it’s safety sealed. This is what a bit of the product looks like on my hand. It feels like a thick gel-like formula that when applied to my face, it left no colour but my face looked very shiny. I left it on for 10 minutes then rinsed it off with warm water in the shower.
Of course, this didn’t work any miracles. My skin still has dry patches BUT, it’s not feeling tingly anymore. The rest of my skin (where I don’t have dry patches) feels very soft. I hope that tomorrow I won’t wake up with pimples on my face.
I’ll update you about this product if I keep on using it. Stay tuned!
