Recently Feelunique.com had a sale on and of course, I had to haul. This powder is one of the new makeup items I hauled to try out 🙂
This is described as a powder foundation that can be used alone or to set makeup. This can be used dry or with a damp sponge for a fuller coverage. This is part of Urban Decay’s Naked line and the foundations are aimed towards leaving a very natural and flawless finish to the skin.
I’m not too keen on using pressed powder for setting my makeup and I’ve personally only used this for touchups. I first use an oil blotting paper and blot away any excess oil on my face, then I go in with this powder using the sponge that comes with it.
This goes on very smoothly, it’s very creamy in texture, and it’s a medium-full coverage (more on the full side). It doesn’t look patchy at all when going over my previous makeup, the finish is a beautiful, skin-like demi-matte finish that’s and not powdery at all (Urban Decay really got the ‘naked’ right here). On areas where some of my foundation rubs off, this also goes on very smoothly and gets all of my makeup looking fresh again. I am extremely impressed with this, especially for the purpose that I purchased it for.
The little sponge that comes with it is also very usable. A sponge like this isn’t something I would use to set my whole face, but it works remarkably well for touch ups. I love it.
I haven’t tried out this powder with a damp sponge and not really planning on it, so I can’t give you my review of how it works in that way.
I hope that you found this little review helpful 🙂
